Express Courier Driver in Dunstable, Bedfordshire

Due to continued business growth, we now are seeking to recruit an Express Van Driver. You will be part of a team that is delivering world-class service and time critical parcels to their customers, with enthusiasm, professionalism and with a simply great delivered job with a smile!

Hourly Rates & other :

£14.25 Per hour for hours worked between 08.00am – 19.00pm

£16.96 Per hour for hours worked between 19.00pm – 08.00am

£21.38 Per hour OT rate after 45 hours

Monday -Friday, from 8:30am – 6:00pm with 30-minute break

• Be an ambassador for our well-known Client; positively representing their brand, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver.
• Responsible for the daily delivery and collection of shipments.
• Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver up to an allocated and realistic number of shipments per day.
• Complete daily safety checks, safe loading, securing load of vehicle, maintenance, legislative regulations and adherence to company driving standards (including tachograph vehicles).

• A full UK driving licence, with no more than 6 points and not have been disqualified in the last five years
• Multi-drop experience (preferable)
• An enthusiasm and passion to always deliver the best service
• Excellent customer service skills, with an ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
• Work collaboratively as part of a team.
