A highly impressive firm is looking for an accomplished Azure Cloud Engineer to join its sizeable IT team. The organisation embraces flexibility so the chosen candidate will be able to work fully remotely.

In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility, you MUST be a consummate communicator with demonstrable expertise in the administration and support of Azure. In addition to this strong IaC automation and scripting skills are expected, so competence with Terraform, Ansible, Bicep or PowerShell are required.

As the environment is hybrid across both on-prem and cloud environments it is expected that you will have experience with Office 365, Windows Server, Exchange Online, Active Directory and VMware. Experience with SANs and Azure networking is preferred.

Your focus will be on optimizing and improving the performance of on-prem and cloud solutions and you will play a key role in maintaining, supporting and monitoring the technology estate, with a particular focus on Azure cloud engineering.

As part of a dynamic hybrid team you, you will be responsible for the operation, support and development of the IT infrastructure. Working with a broad range of technologies you will provide a proactive support service, ensuring systems remain accessible, available and well managed. You will also act as an escalation point for support issues such as loss-of-service incidents, maintenance and problem investigations and will be experienced in change management.
