Join our Repairs Team at L&Q:
We are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator with basic plumbing and carpentry skills, who is also able to carry out patch plastering. You will work within our Repairs Team covering our Northwest housing stock reporting to the assistant repairs manager.
The role will be dealing with all aspects of internal/external repairs including painting and decorating and basic plumbing and carpentry.
Our Operatives are supplied with an L&Q van (business use only), uniform and PPE equipment. You will begin the day from your home address where you will travel to jobs which are distributed to your PDA (hand-held device).
We will expect you to have effective communication skills, have experience of working in a building and/or housing maintenance environment including a knowledge of a varied housing stock.
Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to L&Q and as a first line of contact to our residents we expect you to have outstanding customer service and ability to deliver a right first-time service. Limiting follow ons and increasing satisfaction.
Our in-house maintenance team core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm in general. Out of Hours cover will also be required on rota.
