ATA Recruitment are working in partnership with a fantastic client in Wakefield, West Yorkshire who are the fasted growing Engineering specialist across UK/Europe. They are a multi-site group supplying specialist services across, wholesale, retail and manufacturing facilities.
My client is accredited to the highest BRCGS Food Safety standards and provide world class services to some of the biggest names within the food and manufacturing industry.
You will be joining a team of 11 highly skilled maintenance engineers to undertake planned preventative maintenance β you will be a joining a team with a strong team work ethic and will have ongoing support from the maintenance engineers on shift as well as a hands on engineering supervisor. Training and development are at the forefront of my client and they have budgets in place to provide tailor made training to suit you and the business needs.
The Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will include:
- The planned and reactive maintenance and service of all automated kit on site at site.
- Mechanically you will mainly be replacing worn out parts on the conveyors which will include rollers, bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics.
- Electrical work will include reading through electrical schematics, utilizing electrical test equipment such as multi-meters and fault finding on panels.
- Interpret engineering drawings
The Person
To be successful in your application for the multi skilled maintenance engineer you will need:
- An electrical or mechanical NVQ Level 3 qualification, time served
- Maintenance experience in a high speeds production, manufacturing, FMCG environment is highly desirable but not essential
