About the Venue: Co-op Live is proud to offer a food and beverage hospitality service that stands head and shoulders above the rest. As the largest venue in the UK, we welcome over 23,500 fans per event and host more than 125 events annually, bringing fans and world-renowned artists to experience the unique flavours of Manchester. With 32 incredible bars and restaurants, 15 premium lounges and clubs, and our newly relaunched Premium Outlet, HIDEAWAY, designed by the famous Simon Rimmer, we deliver exceptional hospitality for Manchester and beyond. In just 28 days during the opening season, we\’ve hosted 19 shows, including artists such as The Killers, Nicki Minaj, Eagles and Take That or Pearl Jam. For more information – Co-op Live Role Purpose: We\’re excited to announce we are looking for talented Premium Head Bartenders / Head Cocktail Bartenders to follow direction from the F&B Manager to deliver a unique hospitality food and beverage service offering for our premium areas. In this role, you will be a part of an awesome team of colleagues who instinctively strive to exceed expectations, to support us in creating the best live music experience in the UK. You will coach and mentor team members, ensuring they fulfill their potential and are part of our internal succession strategy and manage \”On the Job\” training, implementing it into your live event day team and assist with team training and development of your area. You will be responsible for: Proactive preparation and supervision of a premium Bar operational area for all event and non-event days to ensure a seamless, well executed operation. Supervision of a casual workforce of approx. 11 people on live event days alongside another Head Bartender. To deliver a concise effective brief to all Bar team members in your area as directed. Address all staffing and client issues as required and be part of the solution to prevent avoidable issues as follow-up. Due to scheduled working hours all applicants must be 18+. This is a casual role offering flexible shifts available around your other commitments – involves shifts at evenings and weekends. Hourly Rate: 13.50 per hour + holiday pay on top Start Date: based upon completion of DBS check. Knowledge, skills & experience: Cocktail making skills and advanced Beverage knowledge. Strong team-management skills, leads from the front, acts as a role model for the staff. People focused, confident and a passion for motivating and developing staff. Passion and skills for premium hospitality and for delivering great service. Food & Bar service experience of a premium hospitality area in a stadium, events arena, festival environment or equivalent fast-paced hospitality setting or volume-led environment. Desirable Personal Licence holder. WSET qualification. Knowledge of Manchester\’s culture, people and F&B high end hospitality scene preferred.
