Foundry Labourer required for a manufacturer and supplier of metal products based in Braintree. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have previous industry experience in a similar role. Foundry Labourer Job Overview Manually load and unload delivery vehicles when necessary. Use an industrial vacuum to clean work areas. Perform general labour tasks, including removing metal parts from sand moulds and recycling the sand. Keep the workspace tidy by sweeping, emptying bins, and clearing debris. Operate cranes to weigh and move components. Assist in metal casting following company guidelines. Work across various moulding sections, such as Fast Loop, Loose Mould, Tread Line, Old Carousel, and New Carousel, ensuring tasks are completed as scheduled. Maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Participate in workplace safety initiatives. Ensure tasks are completed on time according to set schedules. Contribute to process improvements (Lean 5S) to enhance efficiency in operations. Note: Job-specific training will be provided if needed. The role requires heavy lifting. Foundry Labourer Job Requirements Ideally have 3 GCSE\’s including Maths, English and Science (C or above). Ideally have experience as a labourer, or other foundry roles.
