Job Title: Contracts Manager
Location: London – Office & Site Based
Salary: Up to £75,000 + Package
We are currently working with a specialist fire protection contractor delivering passive fire solutions across a wide range of projects in London. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple fire-stopping contracts from pre-construction through to completion.
This is a senior role for someone confident in managing teams, liaising with clients, and ensuring works meet stringent safety and accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple passive fire protection contracts across varying project scopes and sizes
- Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure high-quality delivery and programme compliance
- Ensure full compliance with FIRAS, ASFP, or other third-party accreditation standards
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
- Produce and maintain accurate documentation including RAMS, site reports, and progress updates
- Ensure all works meet Building Regulations (ADB), fire strategy drawings, and specification requirements
- Monitor budgets, track costs, and report on commercial performance
- Provide technical input and programme advice to tender and estimating teams
- Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure H&S compliance across all sites
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing passive fire protection or fire-stopping contracts
- Strong knowledge of fire-stopping systems (e.g. batt & mastic, cavity barriers, intumescent coatings)
- Familiar with third-party accreditation schemes such as FIRAS, IFC, or BM TRADA
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors, or within a specialist fire protection contractor environment
