Software / Hi-Tech Sector Lead ArchitectWe\’re partnering with a leading consulting organisation to hire a Senior Manager – Lead Sector Architect within their Software & Hi-Tech practice. This is a senior architecture role for an experienced Solution or Enterprise Architect who enjoys shaping end-to-end technology strategies and leading complex transformation programmes.
You\’ll work closely with industry and engineering teams to define target‐state architectures, design multi-year transformation roadmaps and provide architectural leadership across large, multi‐technology programmes. The role combines hands‐on architecture leadership with mentoring, capability building and thought leadership across cloud, data and AI.
What you\’ll be doing:
Designing end-to-end solution and enterprise architectures across cloud, data, AI and core platforms
Shaping target operating models and technology roadmaps for large-scale transformations
Providing architectural oversight across multiple programmes to ensure delivery aligns to the original vision
Bringing outside-in thinking and emerging technology insight to software and hi‐tech clients
Leading, mentoring and developing high‐performing architecture teams
Supporting practice growth through capability development and business development activity
What we\’re looking for:
Strong background in Solution Architecture and/or Enterprise Architecture within the Technology sector
Proven experience designing and delivering complex, tech-enabled business platforms
Deep understanding of cloud, data and AI architectures
Experience leading multi‐disciplinary teams across large programmes
Familiarity with major technology vendors and architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, SAFe)
Excellent stakeholder management skills, from C‐suite through to delivery teams
Adaptable mindset with a strong focus on continuous learning
