Are you an experienced Safety Engineer with a background in the Air domain and SC security clearance? Were working with a leading Defence company to find a talented professional to join their team in Bristol, with the flexibility of hybrid working – 2 to 3 days onsite each week. About the Role
As a Safety Engineer, youll lead on safety aspects of the programme, ensuring the delivery and maintenance of safety artefacts. Your expertise will support the application of Acquisition Safety policies to complex platforms and equipment, contributing to the safe and successful delivery of systems across their lifecycle.
What Youll Be Responsible For
- Providing expert guidance and technical advice on safety systems and acquisition engineering outcomes
- Supporting the delivery of safety policies and solutions for complex platforms and equipment
- Managing safety risk assessments and ensuring safety artefacts are up to date and compliant
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety standards are met throughout project phases
What Were Looking For
- A qualification in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics at RQF Level 4 (HNC or above)
- Wide-ranging experience in delivering safety in the Air domain
- Proven ability to provide technical advice and lead safety outcomes in engineering projects
- Professional registration such as IEng, CEng, RSci, or CSci
