Job Description
If you\’re currently studying for A-Levels or an equivalent and you\’re considering a career in law but aren\’t sure where to start, or if you\’ve just begun to explore the idea of becoming a solicitor, this opportunity is for you.
Our leaders are passionate about our Academy colleagues which means you\’ll be at the heart of major work, creating important tangible outcomes designed to build your experience and confidence in the workplace, gaining recognised qualifications as you go.
This is a level 7 qualification and the duration will be 6.5 years. 80% of your time will be spent \’on the job\’ whilst 20% on study. There are also eligibility requirements for this role (please see qualifications below).
This qualification and pathway is contingent upon Level 7 funding, which is currently under review by the government. In the instance that funding is withdrawn then we would offer an alternative role in legal but not on a solicitor pathway.
Our application process is now open, and we are excited to start shortlisting candidates for the recruitment and selection process which will commence in the new year. The process includes the following steps:
- Submission of your application (CV)
- A telephone or Teams interview
- An onsite assessment centre in Cheadle, taking place in February / March 2025
Qualifications
- Maths and English GCSE Grade 4 or above
- 3 \’A\’ Levels or equivalent (minimum educational requirements of Grade B or above)
