You will work on a range of activities to support the day to day running of Institutional Credit Management, a specialist function in Citi which manages the Credit Risk (the risk of loans or other extensions of credit defaulting) to Wholesale customers (Corporates, Financial Institutions and Governments). You will be part of managing risk and executing controls in a fast paced business , working alongside subject matter experts looking for opportunities to enhance processes leveraging technology to automate activities.

Programme description
We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.
We're committed to teaching you the ropes and then some. During the programme, you will study for a BSc (Hons) Business Technology Apprenticeship qualification. Aside from your peer group and manager, you will have a buddy and a dedicated programme manager. You will have access to first class technical and business training from well-established team, plus Citi's online training portal.

Side by side job shadowing and coaching with your team will be combined with the opportunity to work with counterparts in one of the world's largest investment banks . You will be part of the Transaction Management pillar, responsible for capturing the key terms and conditions of loans, ensuring that Citi's systems and processes are capable of managing these loans, and then monitoring them throughout their lifecycle, engaging with various teams including Risk, Banking & CRMS to ensure that Citi makes the best decisions and flawlessly services the loans.

This role will develop a strong understanding of credit risk management and identifying continuous improvements around how this is done through use of automation and technology.

Your time here will look something like this….

  • Actively managing and maintaining a deal closing pipeline of loan transactions
  • Coordinating and closing loan transactions/lifecycle events, capture data, store documentation, troubleshoot issues/roadblocks, perform quality control
  • Working with lines of business, transaction management, and loan operations to ensure all stakeholders have end to end transparency
  • Constantly improving processes, controls and efficiencies within the group and front to back across loan lifecycle
  • Participating in projects to enhance performance and efficiency

Qualifications
We want to hear from you if…

  • You have 5 GCSEs including Maths with a minimum grade B/C (or equivalent) and English Language with a minimum grade C (or equivalent)
  • You have A level grades BCC (or equivalent)
  • You may also meet the course entry requirements with combinations of different qualifications to the same standard (provided subject requirements are met).
  • Exceptional candidates who do not meet this criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience .

Successful applicants will be enrolled on to the Ulster University Business Technology BSc (Hons) Part-time Undergraduate course
