Business Administrator/Executive Assistant (Business Support Officer)
Contract Duration: 6 months Initial
Location: Camberley, UK (3 days onsite per week)
Job Description
- The candidate will be a part of the EMEA Network Services COO team, which is a critical function that sits within Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) and the wider Global Technology division.
- The Business Support function and its diverse business activities provide business administrative and business management operational support in the smooth running of the department needs.
- As a Business Supporting Officer, the role responsibilities include management of routines, act as the central point of contact in supporting various teams, managing and owning task, such as organizing meetings and preparing schedule, taking meeting minutes, updating action logs, generating data reports, maintaining procedure records and documents, tracking, updating various reports, general email enquiries/queries/requests. Assist with event organizing, cost management control around invoice validation, debt management, reducing financial accrual accumulation and supports the manager in the overall budget process for the Network Services team that administers all purchasing requests. Role will also focus and Identify opportunities of optimization and efficiencies of process improvement.
Core Skills:
- Action by raising and submitting to the central teams all financial spend requests.
- Resource management (hiring requests and approvals, forecasting, on-boarding, contract/contractor management)
- Support key deliverables ensuring they are on time/accurate.

- Previous experience in business supporting role an advantage either general office or accounts payable or credit control.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with peers and partners daily.

- Advanced Microsoft excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Highly analytical thinking along with ability to create reports.
- Ability to take data, perform analytics, make recommendations and drive to agreement across multiple departments.
- Excellent organization skills: ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to influence and drive continuous process improvement.
- Prior experience handling multiple facets of running the business of technology: financial management, process improvement, reporting, data analysis.
