Progress Teachers are working to appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistant to support a local mainstream primary school in its mission to widen accessibility for all pupils. The successful candidate will work closely with a caseload of pupils, aiding them to develop the tools needed to overcome barriers to learning and make academic and personal progress. Responsibilities: Supporting class teachers / the SENDCO with day-to-day tasks Following the school’s rules and implementing the school’s ethos and values Being enthusiastic and promoting high expectations for pupils Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups Attending CPD to help you develop professional tools necessary to support a range of pupils with diverse SEN or SEMH requirements.
