Job Description
Our client EMH Electrical and Building Services is a professional contractor specialising in high quality electrical installations, maintenance and comprehensive building solutions, serving both residential and commercial clients. Operating from a well-positioned office in Lingfield, EMH ensure responsive service and reliable support across the surrounding areas.
We are seeking a highly organised Administrator to join our electrical and building services team. This role involves managing financial records, logging labour days and invoices, and providing essential administrative support including assistance with training coordination and day-to-day office tasks.
What you’ll be doing:
• Logging and tracking labour costs for various projects using Xero
• Processing and recording incoming supplier invoices using Xero
• Assisting with general accounts and project administration
• Supporting project managers and site supervisors.
• Coordinate staff training and maintain training records
• Create operation and maintenance manuals for projects
• Customer support
Skills and attributes:
• Previous experience in an accounts or administration role (preferable but not mandatory)
• Experience working in the construction industry (preferable but not mandatory)
• Good attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently as well as part of a team
