Trainee Traffic Installation Technician\\n\\nTelent are now looking for a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join a talented team of Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting specialists in the Gloucestershire area. Due to growth and demand from our customer(s), we in a position to grow the Traffic team in this region. This is a "Field based" role – the successful applicant MUST hold a full UK driving license and be prepared to travel across the region and be comfortable working in all-weathers.

Help build and keep the nation's critical infrastructure connected and protected 24/7. \\n\\nTrainee Traffic Installation Technician – What you'll do:​​​​​​​ \\n\\nAs a trainee within our Traffic Signals team, a typical day would see you working closely with one of our experienced Traffic Engineers to install, maintain and test a range of Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting units and all Electrical components and equipment that compliment, in and around the Gloucestershire regions. \\n\\nTraining will not just be in a classroom, it'll be a mixture of 'on the job' learning, desk-based and online learning, which will help you progress towards achieving an NVQ Level 2 in Highways Electrical Installations (led by LANTRA), then the NVQ Level 3, and finally, all Sector based certifications such as ECS and the National Highways Sector Scheme (NHSS) Chapter 8.

\\n\\nTrainee Traffic Installation Technician – Who you are: \\n\\nYou will naturally have an intrigue and interest in field-based Engineering, and ideally already have some exposure to anything Electrical Installations focused – whether that's working with electrical equipment, lighting, controllers, detection boxes etc, or you've had some experience in a College course.
