Location : West England/Bristol (Applicants must live in and around surrounding areas of the M4)

Hours : Full-Time | Hybrid/On-Site

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced HR leader to take ownership of our UK Human Resources function while playing a pivotal role in driving international HR strategy across our teams in Europe (Spain and the Netherlands) and the US. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced, agile business where your expertise will directly shape culture, operations, and people strategy on a global scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full UK HR function – talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compliance, compensation & benefits, onboarding, and training.
  • Coordinate HR activities internationally – support Spain, the Netherlands, and US teams to ensure compliance and alignment with global policies.
  • Standardise and scale HR processes across regions, ensuring alignment with best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Support M&A integration, harmonising people processes and culture across acquired businesses.
  • Advise and coach managers on people strategy, organisational design, and employee relations.
  • Champion culture, engagement, and internal communications across international teams.
  • Collaborate with legal, payroll, and HRIS partners to streamline operations.
  • Localise and maintain HR documentation and employee handbooks for each country.
  • Drive the implementation of global HR programs such as DEI, succession planning, and learning & development.
  • Lead on the annual training calendar, fostering a culture of continuous development.
  • Monitor and analyse HR metrics and KPIs to inform workforce planning and strategic decisions.
  • Embed quality management principles into HR processes, ensuring adherence to ISO and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor\’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field (CIPD qualification preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a leadership/managerial role
  • Solid grasp of UK employment law; European or US HR compliance knowledge a plus
  • Proven experience managing HR across multiple international regions
  • Experience in scaling HR functions, especially in high-growth or transformation environments
  • Comfortable working in regulated and quality-certified environments (e.g. ISO9001, ISO13485, MDSAP)
