Contract Opportunity: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Hybrid / Remote (Northwest, Midlands, South East) 6–12 months £40–£45/hr (Outside IR35) We are working with a leading consultancy who, due to a significant pipeline of secured work, are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. What You will Be Doing: * Delivering detailed mechanical building services designs across a range of sectors including Residential, Student Accommodation, Data Centres, and Commercial developments. * Working on projects from early concept (RIBA Stage 1) through to delivery (Stage 5). * Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery is on time and to specification. * Attending occasional site or office visits (approx. once a week). * Using Revit to produce and coordinate designs – experience essential. What You will Need: * Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer within the building services sector. * Strong technical knowledge across mechanical services design. * Ability to manage your own workload and deliver to tight deadlines. * Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard software.
