Project Engineer – Water & Wastewater (Anglian Water Alliance)\\n📍 Location: Various sites across the Anglian Water region – including Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Northamptonshire\\n💼 Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hrs/week)\\n💰 Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum\\n📌 Reference: Ref422\\n\\nThe Opportunity\\n\\nWe’re currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading delivery partner working on the Anglian Water Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) Alliance. The role involves supporting capital maintenance and enhancement projects across both infrastructure and non-infrastructure schemes throughout the Anglian Water region.\\n\\nProject locations include sites across:\\n📍 Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Northamptonshire.\\n\\nThis is a pivotal, design-focused position covering the full project lifecycle—from conceptual design through to construction issue drawings. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone looking to play a key part in delivering vital water industry projects in a collaborative alliance environment.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * Lead and coordinate the design process from feasibility through to detailed design and construction issue.\\n\\n * Manage multidisciplinary design teams, consultants, and subcontractors.\\n\\n * Act as the key interface between clients, internal delivery teams, and external stakeholders.\\n\\n * Ensure NEC contract compliance, risk management, and change control.\\n\\n * Support during construction phase: resolving technical queries, supporting handovers and O&M documentation.\\n\\n * Attend design and project meetings and ensure deliverables meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.\\n\\nEssential Requirements\\n\\n * Degree or equivalent in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or ICA Engineering (experience may be considered in lieu).\\n\\n * Strong understanding of NEC contracts and water/wastewater project delivery.\\n\\n * Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.\\n\\n * Proficient in Office 365.\\n\\n * Knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and health & safety best practice.\\n\\nDesirable\\n\\n * Familiarity with WIMES standards.\\n\\n * Experience in the utilities sector, particularly AMP or water industry frameworks.\\n\\n * Knowledge of BIM and project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2).\\n\\n * SMSTS or NEBOSH qualification.\\n\\nWhat’s on Offer\\n\\n * Competitive salary (£50,000–£60,000)\\n\\n * Company pension & life assurance\\n\\n * Private medical cover\\n\\n * Profit share scheme\\n\\n * 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays + loyalty days\\n\\n * Volunteer leave (8 hours annually)\\n\\n * Car/van/green car scheme or car allowance (role dependent)\\n\\n * Flexible working arrangements\\n\\n * Extensive training & development support\\n\\n * Career progression opportunities within a major UK infrastructure framework\\n\\nInterested?\\nApply now or contact our team to find out more about this exciting opportunity
