Project Engineer – Long-Term Framework Opportunity\\n\\nThe Danny Sullivan Group is currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support delivery on a major long-term water infrastructure framework. This role forms part of a collaborative alliance focused on capital maintenance and enhancement across both water and wastewater sectors. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary design activities and ensuring all project deliverables meet specification, regulatory, and contract requirements.
This role spans the full project lifecycle—from early conceptual design through to construction support and technical handover. This is a long-term opportunity with a tier-one contractor delivering critical infrastructure as part of a major regulated utility framework.\\n \\nDuties and Responsibilities:\\n\\nLead the design coordination process across infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects from feasibility to construction issue.\\nAct as the interface between internal teams, design consultants, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.\\nDevelop, review, and manage technical deliverables including design reports, specifications, and drawings.\\nProvide ongoing support through construction including constructability reviews, resolving RFIs, and technical issue resolution.\\nEnsure design compliance with industry standards, safety legislation, and contract requirements.\\nSupport change control, risk management, and communication procedures in line with NEC contract obligations.\\nAttend and contribute to design and project progress meetings with stakeholders and internal teams.\\nAssist with the handover process, including operation and maintenance documentation and H&S file delivery. \\nSkills & Experience (Essential):\\n\\nDegree or equivalent experience in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or ICA Engineering.\\nProficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.\\nStrong understanding of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.\\nExcellent communication and coordination skills across multi-disciplinary teams.\\nPositive and proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities. \\nDesirable:\\n\\nFamiliarity with industry standards such as WIMES.\\nExperience in the water/wastewater or utilities sector.\\nKnowledge of NEC contract frameworks.\\nBackground in project scheduling, BIM, and commercial awareness.\\nProject management qualifications (PRINCE2, SMSTS, NEBOSH).\\nValid CSCS Card. \\nIf you are looking for a long-term role that allows you to contribute to essential infrastructure, work on meaningful projects, and grow within a high-performing tier-one delivery team, we’d love to hear from you.\\n\\nTo apply, please contact Emily Nolan at The Danny Sullivan Group
