Job Description

Sewell Wallis is currently working with a market-leading business based in Manchester, which is looking for a Treasury Assistant to join their finance team on a full-time permanent basis. The role is to support the Treasury and Corporate Accounting teams in multiple aspects of treasury management. This is a fast-paced environment and will involve taking ownership of several treasury tasks and working with a high volume of data and bank accounts.\\n\\nWhat will you be doing?\\n\\nBank reconciliation of over C. 700 bank accounts (and growing), supported by Senior Treasury Administrator and assistant accountants.\\nWeekly flash reporting of cash balances\\nInput of payments into online banking platforms and finance system\\nPrepare internal cash sweeps within finance system\\nAssist with cash balance review and money market deposits to maximise returns on surplus cash\\nOpening and closing of bank accounts and all related documentation\\nAssist with bank KYC, mandate updates, user administration\\nMonthly external cash reporting and movement analysis\\nAssist Senior Treasury Administrator and corporate accounting team with ad hoc bank postings.\\n What skills are we looking for?\\n\\nExperience within a Treasury/Finance or Administrative role.\\nConfidence carrying out a high volume of bank reconciliations.\\nThe ability to deal with high volumes of numerical data\\nProficiency in Excel (v look ups & pivot tables).\\n What's on offer?\\n\\nHybrid working – 2 days from home\\nFlexible start and finish times\\nDiscretionary bonus scheme\\nEnhanced pension contributions\\nPrivate Healthcare\\nLife Assurance\\nOn-site parkingApply below or for more details, contact Lawrie Bacon.\\n\\nTo apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
