Your New Role:
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Loss Adjuster to join our client’s Major Loss team, helping people when they need it most.
You’ll be managing large and complex property insurance claims, supporting customers from the first visit through to settlement.
This is a home-based role, but you\’ll be out and about visiting customers across your designated patch, so you’ll need to live in the region, hold a full UK driving licence and be happy to drive about. A company car will be provided to make your travel easier.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Visiting customers in person to assess and manage high-value property damage claims
- Handling each claim from start to finish, making sure the process is smooth, fair, and stress-free
- Managing claims up to and over £100,000, depending on your experience
- Using your technical expertise to make sure repairs and settlements are handled the right way
- Writing clear and accurate reports and staying on top of current building regulations and insurance practices
- Experience handling high-value or complex property claims, ideally over £50,000
- Confidence in managing claims independently from start to finish
- Strong understanding of insurance principles, subrogation, and property reinstatement
- Knowledge of building practices and repair tendering is a real advantage
- Cert CII or Cert CILA (or equivalent qualification) is desired. If you\’re working towards Dip CII or Dip CILA, even better!
- Great communication and negotiation skills, with a real focus on the customer
