Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a leading elderly care provider, seeking an experienced Home Manager / Commissioning Manager to take the lead in launching a brand-new, state-of-the-art care home in Surrey.
This is more than just a management role — it’s your opportunity to build something outstanding from the ground up.
About the Role:
As Commissioning Manager, you’ll be responsible for opening and leading a beautifully designed, medium-to-large elderly care home set to launch later this year. Your focus will be on:
• Delivering exceptional, person-centred care within a luxury environment
• Recruiting, leading, and developing a brand-new team
• Ensuring CQC compliance and excellence, with the support of a Commissioning Director
• Overseeing the financial and commercial performance of the home
• Promoting the service to the predominantly private payer market
About You:
We’re looking for a passionate, driven, and experienced care professional with a strong track record in managing successful elderly care homes. You will have:
• Commissioning experience
• Nurse qualification ideally, however not essential
• 2+ years’ experience as a Registered Home Manager
• A solid understanding of CQC regulations and evidence of ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ ratings
• Confidence in leading clinical teams, supported by a clinical Deputy Manager
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire a new team
• Strong commercial acumen and experience with the private care market

The home is located in Elsead and is easily commutable from:
Godalming, Guildford, Farnham, Cranleigh, Woking, Haslemere, Camberley, Dorking, Leatherhead & Reigate.
