A leading engineering company based in Northamptonshire is seeking a Graduate Internal Sales Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Chemical Engineering graduate, ideally with a background or qualification in brewing or distilling, to begin their career in a dynamic and supportive technical sales environment.

The Graduate Internal Sales Engineer will ideally have the following:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering (essential)
• Additional qualification or experience in brewing or distilling (highly desirable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commercial awareness and interest in technical sales
• Ability to understand technical processes and translate them into customer solutions
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-motivated and eager to learn

The Graduate Internal Sales Engineer role will involve:

• Providing technical support to customers and assisting in specifying the right products
• Preparing and following up on quotations and proposals
• Supporting the external sales team with customer enquiries and documentation
• Developing a strong understanding of the company’s product range and applications
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers in the brewing, distilling, and related industries
• Participating in internal training and development programmes
