Job Title:Conveyancing Fee Earner

Role Overview:This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Conveyancing Fee Earner to join a firm where your contribution will truly make a difference. With an immediate need in their Darwen office (BB3), the successful candidate will manage a varied residential caseload and play a key role in shaping operational processes as the business continues to scale. With no weekend work, a clear progression path, and a culture of support and development, this role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their legal career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
- Handling sales, purchases, leaseholds, freeholds, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
- Drafting contracts, checking title documents, and preparing reports
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and anti-money laundering requirements
- Maintaining accurate case records using the firm’s case management system
- Delivering excellent client service and managing expectations throughout the process
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience handling a conveyancing caseload independently
- Experience with both freehold and leasehold residential transactions
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced Fee Earner
- Driving licence preferred but not essential
Package and Benefits:
- £30,000 – £35,000 basic salary DOE, plus bonus scheme
- Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (no weekends)
