Are you an experiencedSEN Teaching Assistant, LSA\’S (SEND)or support worker with a passion for inclusive education?

AtSAAF Education, were working with a number ofSpecial Educational Needs schools and provisions across South Yorkshirethat are looking fordedicated, compassionate, and resilient SEN TAsto join their teams from September.

These schools support learners with a wide range of needs, includingAutism (ASD),PMLD, MLD,SLD,ADHD,speech and language difficulties, andsocial, emotional, Mental Health and behavioural needs. If you want to work in a setting where every day is different and every day matters we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups

  • Assisting with learning activities and differentiated lessons

  • Supporting personal care, communication, and sensory needs (where required)

  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to deliver high-quality support

  • Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff

What We\’re Looking For:

  • Experience working in UK SEN settings(schools or care/education-based roles)

  • A calm, patient, and flexible approach

  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with children with additional needs

  • Experience with Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach, Personal care, Moving and Handling (desirable but not essential)

  • Long-term availability from September 2025
