Our highly successful client in Cardiff is looking to recruit a Field Lab Technician . In this specialist role, the successful candidate will be travelling to customer sites throughout the UK to carry out microbiological testing activities, before taking the samples back to the state-of-the-art lab facilities in Cardiff for analysis. Sites include oil refineries and marine engineering facilities (including offshore) and testing will involve working at heights, in all weather conditions and within confined spaces – so candidates must have the ability to carry out such duties. You will need to be flexible with hours, sometimes involving travelling to customer site in the early hours to carry out testing then travelling back to Cardiff for analysis work. This is not a typical 9 to 5 job, however overtime payments will increase your salary.
