We are working with a well-established and design-driven architectural practice based in Surrey that is looking to add an experienced Architectural Technician to their growing team. The studio specialises in high-end residential projects including new builds and refurbishments, and they’re now looking for a technically strong candidate to support continued growth and a rising project workload.
About the Role:
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team in a senior technical role. You’ll be involved in the detailed design and technical delivery of bespoke residential projects, working closely with the Director and overseeing junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed drawing packages across all RIBA stages
- Coordinate with external consultants and contractors
- Apply a strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations
- Attend site and client meetings as needed
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
What We Are Looking For:
- 3–5 years\’ experience working on high-end residential projects in the UK
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit advantageous)
- Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Ideally based within an hour of the office in Surrey
- Background in a Surrey-based practice is preferred
