A world leading mass spectrometry manufacturer is seeking an accomplished and commercially astute mass spectrometrist to join their team as an Application Specialist. As a field based technical specialist, your time will be focussed on post-sales support within the proteomics customer base. Your duties will cover the following: – Application support to exploit full capabilities of their instrument investments – Aiding in the development of customer methods and troubleshooting support as required – Performing instrument and method demonstrations – Technical support to the sales team – Provide customer training and support In addition, you will also attend high profile conferences, presenting technological advancements in the industry. Applications are invited from accomplished LC-MS Scientists with a background in proteomics, gained throughout a PhD, postdoc or from industrial experience. You will be comfortable working with a range of mass spectrometry instrumentation and be skilled in the associated sample preparation procedures.
