As a New Media Editor you will play a pivotal role in creating compelling, narrative-driven documentaries and short videos aimed at engaging global audiences. Your creative expertise will significantly influence our brand\’s international storytelling and audience reach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, edit, and produce documentary-style videos, including short-form content, emphasizing powerful storytelling.
• Collaborate closely in creative planning sessions, contributing innovative and engaging content ideas.
• Provide comprehensive editing support, sound design, and subtitle management to ensure high-quality final productions.
• Regularly monitor industry trends and optimize digital content strategies to maximize user engagement and viewership on international social platforms.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are consistently met.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least two years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience in documentary editing with a portfolio showcasing non-commercial storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
• Exceptional understanding of visual storytelling, narrative structure, and pacing.
• Basic proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (HSK 4 or above preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
