Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor Type: Permanent or Freelance Direct (long-term) Location: London (multiple sites) Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm About the Role We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our team, covering London-based projects. The ideal candidate will come from a Fit Out or Drylining background and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all health & safety regulations across active sites. Key Responsibilities * Carry out regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with current legislation and company policies. * Advise site teams and management on all health & safety matters. * Prepare risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and other relevant documentation. * Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to site operatives. * Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented. * Work closely with project managers to promote a positive health & safety culture. * Ensure all operatives and subcontractors adhere to site health & safety requirements. Requirements * NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH qualification (essential). * Previous experience in Fit Out, Drylining, or construction. * Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
