Finishing Technician
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum
Location: Near Uxbridge, Middlesex
Hours: Double Days – Week 1: 06:00‑14:00 / Week 2: 14:00‑22:00

As a Finishing Technician you’ll be part of the Finishing Department, preparing critical aerospace components using high‑end vibratory machinery. If you’ve got hands‑on experience with vibratory or tumbling machines – particularly Walther Trowal – and a keen eye for precision, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities
- Operating Walther Trowal vibratory finishing machines and barrel tumblers
- Finishing metallic components to exact aerospace standards
- Masking areas such as bores, holes, and slots to protect from abrasives
- Conducting in‑process inspections and packing completed parts for internal delivery
- Reading and following technical drawings, part numbers, and aerospace documentation (ADRs)
What we\’re looking for
- Proven experience using vibratory and/or tumbling finishing machinery (Walther Trowal experience desirable)
- Previous background in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
- Familiarity with basic inspection tools and quality checks
- Awareness of Health & Safety procedures and COSHH regulations
