Triple West Medical are currently seeking an experienced Locum Consultant Ophthalmologist with specialist interest in Cornea for a 12 Month FTC.
The Trust have over 10,000 staff offering comprehensive range of acute and community services over a number of sites to over 1 million people. You will have excellent clinical skills and expected to be active in the teaching and supervision of all multi-disciplinary staff.
The main site has a purpose-built Ophthalmology Outpatient Department. Surgery is undertaken in the Day Stay Unit within the Hospital and our dedicated Vanguard theatre with clinics also taking place nearby. The Ophthalmology service also provide 2 dedicated diagnostic hubs. The role is split between sites so some travel will be required.
Clinical Duties:
- Theatre Cataract surgery, Cornea surgery, Graft surgery
- Outpatient Clinics
- Management/development of service
- Teaching
- General Consultant On call (usually 1 in 8)
Our Client is happy to issue Certificate of Sponsorships to suitably qualified overseas doctors. GMC registration and relevant experience is essential for this position
