We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Advisor to join our HR team and play a pivotal role in fostering a high-performance culture across the business. This role is ideal for someone passionate about employee relations, building strong relationships, resolving workplace issues, and driving employee engagement through expert guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing clear, consistent, and legally sound advice to managers and employees.
  • Build trusted relationships with managers to understand team dynamics and coach them through complex employee issues.
  • Lead and advise on a wide range of ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management, ensuring alignment with company policies and employment law.
  • Support managers in creating positive work environments that promote wellbeing, engagement, and retention.
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit, ensuring smooth processes and compliance.
  • Manage family leave requests and ensure accurate payroll inputs related to ER matters.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in line with GDPR and internal standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a HR role with a strong focus on employee relations.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and coach at all levels.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with attention to detail and discretion.

  • Salary of £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid working model – 2 days working from home once settled into role plus the option of one additional day working from a Foxtons office

About You

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Hands on experience advising Managers in relation to ER enquiries
  • Great interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Experience documenting HR processes in file notes and letters
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively prioritise tasks
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
