Project Manager Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Location: Hampshire Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time Are you an experienced Project Manager within civil engineering looking for a permanent position? Are you looking to manage and lead the full life cycle of key projects? If so, this may be the right opportunity for you! We are currently working with a well-established civil engineering contractor who is looking to appoint a Project Manager on a permanent basis to support continued growth across their project portfolio. About the Role This is a key role in which you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of civil engineering and construction projects, from pre-construction through to final handover. As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of programme control, commercial performance, team leadership and client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities As Project Manager, you will be responsible for: Developing, maintaining and reviewing project programmes in partnership with the Planning team, ensuring subcontractor activities are fully integrated and potential risks, delays or entitlement issues are identified early Preparing work plans, appointing subcontractors and coordinating the procurement of materials, plant and resources Leading regular site-based progress meetings to drive programme and performance Controlling project financial performance, including cost tracking, forecasting and cash flow management Responsible for risk management Ensuring all works are delivered in line with health & safety legislation, environmental requirements and quality standards Overseeing technical coordination, responding to design and site queries, and ensuring accurate project documentation is maintained Providing leadership to site teams, supporting performance, development and local labour recruitment where required Developing and maintaining positive client relationships while contributing to repeat business and future opportunities About You To be successful in this role, you\’ll have: Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering Strong programme management skills with sound commercial awareness Experience managing costs, forecasts and project performance Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively What\’s on Offer Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Company Car Permanent, long-term opportunity with clear career progression Supportive and collaborative working environment Ongoing professional development and training If this is something that interests you, please apply with your CV asap!
