Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Felixstowe

Our vibrant and inclusive Primary School, located in the beautiful area of Felixstowe, is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. You will be working alongside teachers to provide tailored support to children with various learning needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist children with SEN in small groups or on a one-to-one basis
Support the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and activities
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to the class teacher
Foster independence and self-confidence in children
Provide emotional and behavioural support where needed

The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting
Possess a patient, kind, and empathetic approach
Be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of individual students
Have a genuine passion for working with children with SEN
Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) or have a strong background in education support
