Job Description

An international professional services firm is hiring a Finance Business Partner for a newly created, high-impact role. They are looking for candidates with experience in professional services or partner-led businesses, and a strong track record of working with C-suite and senior stakeholders.

The company is undergoing a major finance transformation, having recently implemented a new system and expanding its commercial finance team. This is an ideal time to join, offering the opportunity to drive process improvements, deliver insightful reporting, and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Based in Bristol with hybrid working, the role focuses on partnering with stakeholders to manage financial performance and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial performance whilst providing revenue, cost and KPI oversight
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and analyse business performance.
  • Manage and review aged Work in Progress (WIP) and debt, ensuring effective control and optimization.
  • Support the delivery of the financial planning cycle including budgets and forecasts

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Proven experience in a finance business partner role within a professional services firm or partner-led business
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling, strong proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities – able to explain finance topics to non-finance stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
