Job Description

Our client is looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves supporting the smooth running of multiple office locations through general maintenance, minor repairs, office moves, and basic IT/user support. You’ll play a key part in ensuring a safe, well-maintained and fully functional workspace for all staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to various office sites to carry out scheduled and ad hoc maintenance tasks.
  • Perform minor repairs and upkeep
  • Support with office moves, furniture installations, and workstation setups.
  • Carry out regular checks on office facilities (e.g. heating, lighting, basic plumbing).
  • Liaise with external contractors for specialist maintenance tasks where needed.
  • Provide basic IT/user support (e.g. setting up monitors, printers, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies and maintenance stock.
  • Ensure health & safety standards are met across all sites.
  • Act as point of contact for emergency or urgent repair issues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar multi-site facilities or maintenance role.
  • Strong general maintenance and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks and basic repair work.
  • Good understanding of health & safety in an office setting.
  • Basic IT literacy
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel up to 2-3 days per week between offices.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and self-organisation skills.
