ABOUT THE JOB
CGTN Digital is seeking an experienced copy editor to join its growing team of dedicated, passionate journalists in Beijing. The ideal candidate will have experience working accurately and meticulously, in a fast-paced news environment. They will be positive, energetic and totally committed to the highest journalistic standards. They will also have the ability to read and edit scripts critically; make edits consistent with CGTN\’s tone, accuracy, and brevity; and spot spelling, punctuation, grammar, and syntax mistakes consistently.
● Edit news content for various online platforms
● Work collaboratively with other journalists
● Have an interest in international and Chinese news
Minimum Qualifications:
● At least 3 years of relevant experience in editing and fact-checking
● Native-level English speaker
● An eye for detail and ability to produce spotless copy
