Position Summary:As the Lead Platform Technical Architect, you will own the development, enhancement, support, and maintenance of software components that empower business and operations functions. Your expertise will shape complex applications and drive the adoption of emerging technologies across On-prem, Cloud, and Hybrid architectures.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in building and maintaining high-performance applications.
- Experience in a highly Agile continuous integration and continuous deployment environment within commercial banking sector is essential.
- Strong understanding of Payment processing (STP).
- Strong experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Mule, web Services, Kafka, SQL & PL/SQL (Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of XML, JSON and its usage within API and Microservice implementations at scale.
- Significant expertise in cloud-native deployment using OpenShift, Kubernetes or any one the container platform.
- Experience maintaining on-premises environments, containerized applications and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Experience using leading app servers and integration technologies like Mule ESB, Any point Platform, MQ, Kafka.
- Experience in Splunk, Dynatrace or AppDynamics (APM tools).
- Proven ability to leverage knowledge of infrastructure automation, DevOps, cloud technologies and platform architecture to build resilient, scalable and maintainable solutions
- Experience implementing best practices, optimizing performance, ensuring compliance with security standards, and providing leadership to the engineering team
- Strong communication skills, capable of discussing intricate technical details with technical audiences while conveying concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Lead the design and implementation of platform solutions that meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and collaborate with solution architects to ensure a cohesive design across platform components.
- Coordinate dependencies across platform teams and business capabilities, acting as a seasoned technical resource.
- Make strategic recommendations to support Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and accommodate anticipated growth over the next five years.
- Manage multiple projects and budgets while providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with external partners to deliver comprehensive software requirements.
- Set the technical direction for the platform and implement enterprise security and architectural standards.
