Health and Social Care Lecturer
Contract – Ongoing Contract

The role:
We are looking for 3 Full Time Health and Social Care Lecturers to support a Care Services Department at an FE College in Greater Manchester. The role is an open contract with no end date confirmed yet; however likely to last until the end of the year and beyond.
Experience within the Care Sector is essential – either in Health or the Education Sector.

Our client is an FE College situated in Greater Manchester. They have strong employer links and are "Work-Based Learning" focused. Offering clear progression routes for students from level 1 through 3, and also into Higher Education Pathways, enabling learners to build their qualifications towards careers such as Nursing, Midwifery, and Social Work. Their department typically serves a broad range of students, from school leavers and adult returners, providing flexible and inclusive pathways into the health and social care sector.
They have an alignment with the NHS and Regional Workforce Priorities, playing a role in supporting the regional healthcare workforce strategies and contributing to filling local skills gaps, particularly those in healthcare, support work and adult social care.
What you need:
- A current, Enhanced DBS (Ideally on the update service)
- Experience or understanding of the T Levels/ CACHE or BTEC curriculum
- Ability to create engaging lessons for 16+ Learners
- Teaching experience within further education or adult learning
- A level 3 or above in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Available for full-time work
- To have a "can-do" attitude
