Compliance Team Leader
37 Hours per week
Salary: £45,000 per annum
We’re a housing provider in Macclesfield with over 5,000 properties across East Cheshire and the surrounding areas. We’re ambitious with plans to build more homes, regenerate local areas and invest in our properties. We provide housing to those in housing need and aim to be a great landlord for our customers.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Team Leader to join our team. The key responsibilities of the role will be:
· to ensure that the Trust is compliant with all areas of Landlord’s property compliance, including (but not limited to); Fire, Gas, Electrical, Asbestos, Lifting Equipment, Legionella
· to develop and maintain reporting functions to track and evidence compliance performance
· to deliver a compliance programme(s) yourself, ensuring works are completed on time and to a suitable quality
· to lead a team of 4 other Compliance Officers who work to deliver the other programmes of servicing, testing and inspection across all areas of Landlord’s property compliance
· to review processes and procedures to ensure they are up to date and accurate
· to review how we deliver compliance programmes and consider how the Trust can improve efficiencies and customer experience
· to monitor spend across all compliance programmes against budget

To succeed you will need experience of managing people, budgets, processes and a keen eye for detail. It would also be beneficial for the successful candidate to have any of the following qualificatons; Degree Level Qualification, IOSH Managing or Leading Safely, NEBOSH,A qualification in one of the 6 key compliance areas or a professional or management qualification.
