Summary

The Strategic Client Relationship team is responsible for coordinating relationships with State Street Investment Management's (SSIM) largest and most strategic clients, identifying synergies across our core businesses, and partnering with colleagues of State Street to deliver an industry leading "One State Street" experience.

In addition to playing a key role in supporting the execution of the overarching Strategic Client strategy, this position will be responsible for championing the One State Street initiative from within SSIM.  Alongside US counterpart, the successful candidate will be responsible for further developing and systematizing of our One State Street initiative as it seeks to leverage and expand client relationships across the entire State Street organization.

This role is London-based.

What you will be responsible for

  • Further develop and systematize SSIM's One State Street initiative with a focus on shaping our long-term strategy as well as facilitating day-to-day execution across SSIM /STT.
  • Liaise with and coordinate One State Street efforts with US-based counterpart
  • Partner with all divisions across the State Street organization to establish the tools, systems and processes required to improve collaboration, communication, capability awareness and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders from across State Street Corporation
  • Together with the CCG sales team, support the overall net revenue growth, wallet share, and margin growth of SSIM.
  • Contribute to success with our firmwide accounts and drive a culture of successful account management.
  • Implement and understand key performance indicators, both operational and financial, and hold stakeholders accountable for results.
  • Establish effective feedback mechanisms from across the organization to deepen market and firm awareness and support sales efforts.
  • Own, develop and enhance business reports to track and measure success of One State Street activities.
  • Break through silos to support the development and execution of One-STT initiatives

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years' financial services experience
  • Cross-division experience
  • Strong academic credentials including an undergraduate degree; advanced degree and/or CFA a plus. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Salesforce experience
