Delivery & Collection Driver

Location: Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire

Shift Pattern: 3-5 days per week (Must be able to work Monday & Friday)

Pay Rate: GBP11.44 p/h

Employment Type: Temp to Perm (Permanent after 408 hours worked)

Igloo is recruiting Delivery & Collection Drivers on behalf of our client, based in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team delivering new vehicles to customers\’ homes across the UK. If you enjoy driving, providing excellent customer service, and making someone’s new car day extra special, this could be the perfect role for you!

The Role:

  • Deliver and hand over new vehicles to customer driveways across the UK, ensuring a first-class experience.
  • Use public transport to return to the site after deliveries (expenses covered or reimbursed).
  • Demonstrate vehicle features to customers, including electric vehicles.
  • Check vehicles in and out using company-provided apps on a Samsung tablet.
  • Work safely and in line with company guidelines at all times.

The Person:

  • A minimum of 2 years driving experience and a clean driving record (no more than 6 points for minor offences).
  • Aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes).
  • Confident driving cars and vans, including both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with experience in retail, hospitality, or automotive being advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Confident using handheld technology.
  • Comfortable demonstrating vehicle features to customers.
  • A friendly, can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Skilled, safe, and confident driver.
