Job Description
An exciting opportunity has opened up to join a growing claims operations team in a key delegated authority oversight role. This is a hands-on position with exposure to DCAs across the globe, working closely with internal claims adjusters and external partners to ensure robust performance and governance across the delegated claims function.With a strong reputation in the market and clear growth ambitions, this business offers a supportive and inclusive environment where you’ll be trusted to take ownership and contribute to continuous improvement across delegated claims. Ideal for someone with experience in claims or DA oversight looking to take their next step in a more autonomous role.Key responsibilities:• Support onboarding and ongoing due diligence of Delegated Claims Administrators (DCAs), ensuring adherence to internal governance frameworks.• Manage the administration of DCA contracts and assist in the negotiation of terms and service level agreements.• Collate and analyse KPI data for reporting and monitoring purposes, escalating concerns where performance falls below standards.• Maintain accurate logs and trackers, providing up-to-date information on DCA performance and audit recommendations.• Assist with DCA audit planning and ensure recommendations are followed up to completion.• Ensure completeness and accuracy of claims bordereaux, working with the wider claims ops team on reconciliation and query resolution.• Monitor loss fund balances and undertake reconciliations to return surplus funds.Experience required:• Good understanding of the Lloyd’s and London Market with a focus on delegated authority or claims operations.• Experience working with DCAs or delegated claims practices is desirable.• Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset with a passion for improving processes and ensuring data accuracy.This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a varied and high-impact role that will offer visibility, ownership, and the chance to work across multiple claims functions.If this sounds like your next move, get in touch for more details.
