Job Description
Multi-billion-dollar blue chip technology company is offering an exciting opportunity within its engineering division for a Mechanical Design Engineer. This role focuses on developing and managing detailed 3D models and technical drawings to support the design and integration of mechanical systems in industrial or logistics environments. You'll collaborate closely with architectural, MEP, and engineering teams using tools like SolidWorks, Inventor, and Revit, ensuring all designs meet technical, manufacturing, and compliance standards. The position requires strong CAD skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex technical specifications, particularly in support of automation and material handling systems.
The ideal candidate will be located in United Kingdom.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in mechanical/industrial design (logistics, automation, or M&E sectors preferred)
- Proficient in SolidWorks or Inventor (3D CAD software)
- Experience with Revit for 3D modelling and system integration
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design, fabrication methods, and design for manufacturing
