About the role
As an HVAC Maintenance Technician at Tesco, covering our Gloucester, Swindon and Newbury areas, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our environments comfortable, safe, and fully operational for both customers and colleagues. Your expertise in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems will ensure our stores remain energy-efficient and compliant with safety standards.
You'll be part of a skilled maintenance team, responsible for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a wide range of HVAC systems and equipment. From diagnosing faults to carrying out repairs and optimising system performance, your work will help ensure a seamless shopping experience for thousands of customers every day.
This is a hands-on, mobile role that requires strong technical knowledge, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to high standards of service and safety. - Annual bonus scheme of up to 10% of base salary

You will be responsible for
- Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
- Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, maximising productivity, and effectiveness.
- Delivering high quality work standards across the estate, with year-on-year improvement.
- Using problem-solving skills and innovation to identify and develop solutions for key and common issues.
- Own tasks at a local level through to completion/resolution, informing key stakeholders through the process, where required.
- Using mobile devices; phone and tablet, to drive best practice in work completion and updates.
- Use the business systems to drive best practice in work order reporting to support asset lifecycle management.
- Supporting KPI delivery, through the practical application of skill sets, and effective use of business systems to drive achievement of your own set KPIs.
