Senior AI Engineer – 6- 8 Months Outside IR35

We’re looking for an AI Engineer to help build and deliver real-world AI solutions for clients. You’ll work on live projects, support junior team members, and help create a repeatable approach we can use for future work.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and improve AI tools for real business problems (e.g., reconciling data, extracting info from documents).
- Guide junior engineers and review their work.
- Create simple playbooks and best practices the team can follow.
- Work closely with clients and teammates to deliver working AI solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI or Claude.
- Strong skills in LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Advanced knowledge of Pandas.
- Experience with PyMuPDF or pdfplumber for working with PDFs.
- Able to build APIs or custom data connectors.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Streamlit or Gradio.
- Familiarity with AI platforms like Azure AI Foundry, Vertex AI, or SageMaker.
