Job Description

Mid-Level Data Analyst – Hybrid (London area)Location: London-adjacent (1–2 days/week in-office)Job Type: Full-time, PermanentStart Date: ASAPSalary: £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experienceA fast-growing UK-based telecoms provider is seeking a talented Mid-Level Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping how data influences decision-making across the business.This is an exciting opportunity to join a profitable and lean tech company with a loyal customer base of micro-businesses. With a solid foundation in VoIP, broadband, and legacy digital services, the business is now investing in analytics to scale its impact across marketing, product, operations, and customer support.The RoleReporting directly to the CTO, this role offers high autonomy and visibility. You’ll be the go-to person for dashboards, reports, and actionable insights. Collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, you’ll build out the company’s analytics capabilities using tools like Looker Studio and Trevor.io, with potential to help implement full Looker in future.Responsibilities include:
  • Building and maintaining dashboards to support reporting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
  • Translating complex business questions into data models and insightful reports
  • Collaborating closely with tech, product, and senior leadership
  • Driving independent projects from idea to delivery

Key Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a Data Analyst role
  • Excellent SQL skills – able to write complex queries with ease
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g. Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, Trevor.io)
  • Strong communication skills – able to explain data to non-technical audiences
  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable managing your own workload

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses
  • Familiarity with Looker (full version)
  • Basic forecasting/modelling skills
  • Exposure to product, marketing, or operational data
