Consilium Recruit are proudly supporting the R&D division of a privately owned international business. They are seeking a SHEQ Coordinator to join their rapidly expanding electrical engineering team. This is a permanent role based onsite daily in Essex.
Commutable from: Basildon, Brentwood, Southend-on-Sea, Chelmsford, London
Salary: Negotiable based on experience + Excellent Benefits including Pension, Healthcare and Bonus
The Role
The SHEQ Coordinator will act as the focal point for all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality matters in the business.
Working onsite at the facility in Essex, you will ensure that the site meets the appropriate compliance requirements through the promotion of an inclusive and positive safety and quality-first message.
The SHEQ Coordinator will provide a coordinated advisory and coaching led approach to SHEQ and will strive to maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
The SHEQ Coordinator will implement and monitor corporate SHEQ policies, develop site specific risk assessments and drive continuous improvement across plant SHEQ performance.
The Person
The SHEQ Coordinator will possess proven experience in SHEQ role, ideally in a manufacturing or complex engineering environment. You will hold a NEBOSH (or equivalent) qualification and have a demonstrable record in implementing and maintaining SHEQ compliances.
An excellent communicator, you will enjoy promoting a positive and inclusive SHEQ culture across the business and be able to deliver effective and memorable training and advisory content.
The SHEQ Coordinator be comfortable in varied environment including manufacturing, R&D, office and workshop spaces and have a level of flexibility for some international travel.
