Job Overview

Stanton House is working with a high-profile organisation with the sport industry who is searching for versatile Project Manager who has experience in supporting PMO function to join in for 12 months FTC.

The role involves two core areas of responsibilities: Acting as a Transformation Business Partner and providing cross divisional project management and PMO support across a variety of projects. This person will be responsible for monthly reporting, KPI management, risk management, and leading or supporting strategic projects from business case preparation through to inception

The ideal candidate will be able to adapt quickly, drive projects forward, and effectively partner with stakeholders at various organisational levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Management Office (PMO), sharing best practice throughout the project lifecycle, including project initiation, planning and business case development.
  • Proactively identify and Manage project risks, issues and dependencies, working to mitigate them and ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Act as a trusted business partner to members of the Senior Management Team and their divisions, providing tactical support and thoughtful challenge to drive business growth and operational effectiveness
  • Build strong cross-departmental relationships to drive alignment on key initiatives, supporting a collaborative and accountable working culture.
  • Lead the delivery of workstreams within complex, cross-functional projects—ranging from regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR) to high-impact operational efforts (e.g., major tournament execution).
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define clear project objectives, timelines, and resource plans, ensuring each initiative is strategically positioned for success.
  • Stay actively engaged throughout all project phases, offering hands-on support and problem-solving to keep workstreams on track and aligned with broader business goals.
