Job Description

ECT Teachers Required for Secondary Schools in Brighton and Sussex

Are you a qualified ECT teacher? Are you a strong-willed and confident ECT who has a record of 'Good' or better classroom practice and an understanding of the value of high expectations?

We are working with supportive and welcoming schools in the area, which are seeking ECT Teachers to start in September 2025.

About the role

The successful applicant will be joining a team of experienced teachers within a wonderful department. You will be working collaboratively with students to deliver outstanding lessons. You will be enrolled onto a fantastic induction programme and benefit from the dynamic leadership of the SLT who are known for driving the school’s expectations and developments and giving you excellent career development.

This is a full-time, long-term role for a qualified teacher who can fully commit to joining a school with a clear vision and strong ethos.

About you

  • A qualified ECT teacher with a formal teaching qualification

  • Confident teaching subjects at Key Stage 3 and 4 to a range of abilities

  • A passion for your subject and education in general

  • A desire to work as a team with the rest of the department and the school
